As can be seen by the riveted product, the method of manufacture means that the grille is fastened to the frame by only the thinnest margins. The frame is on average only 1.2 mm thick. In the photograph to the right , you can see how the Prowler Proof products has been redesigned. The frame is on average 70% thicker than traditional frames and the mesh is securely fastened to the frame using electronic pulse MIG welding. This type of welding was designed for use in gas pipelines where extremely high quality welding is essential.
